Siku 6214 Irish Mercedes Sets
After all the violence of the past weeks from the Bugatti camp, a very surprising pair of sets has now been released with Mercedes miniatures.
2 sets at once... yummy!

Die Sets bestehen aus folgenden Modellen:
- 1445 Mercedes SLS AMG Coupé
- 1004 Mercedes SLR McLaren
- 1470 Mercedes 300 SL
Diese Sets wurden für den irischen Markt herausgebracht und es war eine ziemliche Herausforderung, sie hierher zu bringen.
Standardmodelle mit Upgrade
Sikus Serienmodelle dieser Versionen sind farblich bisher nicht wirklich aufregend.
Eigentlich sogar etwas zu weich für diese großen Mercedes.
Beispielsweise erschien der SLR McLaren in den Farben Metallic-Grün und Metallic-Rotbraun. Aber es ist ein wunderschönes Modell, gut umgesetzt von Siku, aber diese Farbe!?!
Dies ist in diesen Sets auf jeden Fall gut gelungen und dieses Modell in Rot mit Schwarz und metallischem Aluminium ist wunderschön!
Siku 6214 00701 Mercedes Set 1
This is the most daring set I have seen to date.
The bright yellow Mercedes SLS AMG Coupé immediately stands out. Especially because the details are accentuated in black. Really fantastically done!
The same goes for the SLR McLaren, which has been beautifully modified. If only Siku would also release these models in blister packs! The competition could pack up immediately.
The, in my opinion, forgotten child of Siku, the Mercedes 300 SL (Gullwing) is in principle a beautiful model in itself, but Siku has made an incomprehensible change after the first beautiful colour scheme (silver-grey).
White with red decorative stripes and completely wrong rims! A hideous model as a result.
That has been done well with this model in these sets. The old rims have been used again and suitable colours have been used again.
Siku 6214 00702 Mercedes Set 2
The second set is a bit more moderate in terms of colours and appeals to me even more personally.
It almost looks like a showroom of the somewhat more luxurious Mercedes dealer.
You keep discovering details!
All in all, it was a surprise to me a few weeks ago when these sets were announced. I got a description that I couldn't really do anything with. But when images appeared, I was immediately positive.
That didn't go away after I had them in my hands. They are on display in the collection and I secretly hope that more sets will come.

By: Dennis Smit On 06/27/2020Persoonlijk vind ik de eerste set net niks, alles behalve kleuren die je op een normale auto tegen zou komen enige uit deze set die WEL mooi is vind ik de 300SL, de tweede set is wel echt top! Met fantastische kleurstellingen, leken alle sets daar maar op!
Sets die ik graag zou willen zien zijn:
1. Een setje Italianen met de Alfa 4C, Fiat 500 en Lamborghini Aventador in nieuwe kleuren
2. Een set Fords met de Mustang, F150 en GT in nieuwe kleuren
3. Een VW set met de Beetle, Transporter en Buggy in nieuwe kleuren
4. Een set Muscle cars met de Corvette ZR1, Ford Mustang en Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in nieuwe kleuren
5.Een Porsche set met de Macan, 911 991 MK2 Turbo S en 918 Spyder in nieuwe kleuren
6. Een US Police set met de Ford F150, BMW i8 en de Dodge Charger
7. British Set 1 met de Range Rover Sport, Jaguar F-type en McLaren Senna in nieuwe kleuren
8. British set 2 met de Mini Countryman, Bentley Continental GT V8 en Lotus Elise in nieuwe kleuren
9. Een SUV set met de Range Rover Sport,Audi Q5 en Kia Sorento in nieuwe kleuren
10. BMW set met de X6M, 750i en i8 in nieuwe kleuren
11. Mini set 3 met de Countryman Polizei, Countryman Feuerwehr en Countryman Fahrschule
12.. BMW 5 serie Touring set met 5er Polizei, 5er Feuerwehr en 5er Taxi
13. Mercedes-benz set met GLA 45 AMG, E350d en E350d Feuerwehr
