Siku 1459 Model premiere BMW 520i Touring

Whether this is a prototype, or whether the final model will look exactly like this is still a mystery to me. But today we were able to photograph a model of the BMW 520i Touring. In the Siku booklets it is also depicted exactly like this, but because it will not be released until the end of next month, it is very special that we can admire a so-called pre-production model. The most striking thing are the rims, which can also be seen in the Siku booklets and folders from 2016. But that also does not guarantee that the final production model will also get these rims. An example is the Fiat 500, which was also shown with black rims in the 2015 booklets. But I myself have never been able to find one in real life that has black rims. In addition, there is an empty area on the base plate, perhaps the country of production will be stated there. That could be China or Poland. But there are no fixed rules for that either, because the Volkswagen T5 Facelift now has an empty, black area on the base plate. Lots of speculation, but it looks like this will be the final model! of dat het uiteindelijk model er ook precies zo uit gaat zien is mij nog een raadsel. Maar vandaag hebben we een model van de BMW 520i Touring kunnen fotograferen. In de Siku boekjes staat het ook precies zo afgebeeld, maar omdat het pas eind volgende maand wordt uitgebracht is dit wel heel bijzonder dat we een zogenaamde voorproductie model kunnen bewonderen. Meest opvallend zijn de velgen, zo zijn ze ook te zien in de boekjes en folders van Siku van 2016. Maar ook dat geeft geen garantie dat het uiteindelijke productiemodel ook deze velgen krijgt. Een voorbeeld is de Fiat 500, die stond in de boekjes van 2015 ook met zwarte velgen. Maar ikzelf heb nog nooit eentje in het echt kunnen vinden die zwarte velgen heeft gekregen. Daarnaast is op de bodemplaat een leeg vlak te vinden, wellicht komt daar het productieland op te staan. Dat kan China of Polen zijn. Maar ook daar zijn weer geen vaste regels nog voor, want de Volkswagen T5 Facelift heeft tegenwoordig een leeg, zwart vlak op de bodemplaat. Volop speculaties, maar het ziet er naar uit dat dit het uiteindelijk model gaat worden! Een lekker zwaar model met geweldig goed sluitende deuren. Iets waar Siku steeds beter in gaat slagen.
