Dutch emergency services sets 1654, 1655 and 1556
After the very successful Volkswagen Golf Police and Fire Brigade, a new chapter has been added to the Dutch models of Siku. Three sets will be released at once. These are identical in composition. But I would like to add immediately that they are all very successful and challenging! The scale is the so-called 3-inch scale. This means that the length of the model determines the size of the scale. So roughly the van is 3-inch (7.50 cm) long and the engine is also this length. Which results in a much higher engine in relation to the van. This is quite normal in the model world of 3-inch.
The Siku 1654 Ambulance set is already partly known, because the ambulance has been released in this form for several years, but the BMW engine is of course completely new. The colours are completely correct again as we can always expect from Siku and the prints are also correct. A beautiful set with nice details.
Secretly I had expected it much earlier, the Police bus. But now it comes with a nice Police motorcycle. Many other countries already had the police bus, such as Italy and Germany (although almost always in the open version!). Set has been given article number 1655 by Siku.
In addition to the Smart and the Zetros fire truck, a set of the Dutch Fire Brigade is now also available. With article number 1456, this is a very welcome addition. The sets are beautifully made and immediately stand out on the shelves. These will mainly replace the Siku 2310 set with horse trailer of the Police, because that has been removed from the range. Actually, it is pointless at Siku to start about the quality and sturdiness of the models because that is even fine with the motorcycles! Some extra pictures of the sets to feast on...
