Introduction 2300 Series

The 2300 series that is being introduced this year by Siku is definitely becoming a great addition! At first I thought it was mainly about the scale and the packaging, but Siku has taken a step further in developing toy models.

Take a good look at the picture above, the wheels can be dismantled. Even though the models in the pictures are still the prototypes, they do give a good impression that this is not just a new series. The doors and the tailgate can be opened. These options have hardly been applied to a car model to date. In most cases, only the doors or the tailgate can be opened. Exceptions are the larger vans where there is of course more space for these options.

Siku is really a step ahead of the competition! I really did not expect that the loose wheels would initially be applied to a car. A large truck such as a sand tipper would have been much more logical. You see with the Wiking tractors in recent years that these models are also equipped with interchangeable wheels.
